I've been screwed by BB too many times. They say that date, but sometimes they run out and you get it much later. I rather do AT&T.

I really do not care to much about the bloatware and I can delete as much as possible.(hopefully this phone wont be so locked out that I can't add a custom rom to it if need be)

I guess you've never used an AT&T clonephone before. You cannot delete any of these apps nor can you install any kind of custom ROM or Cyanogenmod. It is AT&T's phone. Even if you buy it outright you have zero control over it. Rude awakening incoming in 3...2...

I just absolutely do not want a contract with any carrier and I can not find anywhere to buy the preorder unlocked either.

well if the unlocked version does end up available on amazon at that time, then I will carry myself up to best buy and cancel my order then just buy one off of Amazon. Otherwise I will stick with the att phone. I really do not know why this particular phone would be locked out so badly when I have done this with previous phones and removed those apps with ease. Do they hate samsung that badly?

Many Apps can be disabled, though not deleted. Package disabler will let you disable any app, but not sure if it will work on the s7. The att note 5 can't be rooted so I suspect that the s7 would be similar.

No, they don't mostly. A few Best Buys stocked the T-Mo iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 but those stores were few and far between and only carried one or two of each and you had to buy them outright.

I see nothing that says buying it outright changes anything. If I find that to be the case I'll cancel it, go with payment plan and then finish off what I owe in a month or two. Doesn't make sense for them to do that - a lot more paperwork and expense on their part and just hassle on my part.

An outfit called the "mercate group" has listed the S7 on Amazon.com with a $100 markup...

Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F International Unlocked -- $795

Another group called NGP Store USA has the Edge up for a $135 markup...

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F International Unlocked -- $935

Expansys will have the S7 for $675

Valuebasket has the S7 for $695 and claims to have it in stock


All of these are very slow shipping, not eligible for Prime, and cost $30 or more for expedited shipping. Ugh. Hopefully something more reputable appears by March 11th!
