I have a question does anyone know if I request to hold my package at a FedEx location like a Walgreens
does it take an extra day to get one's package?

Because with ups the only way I can pick up my package the same day it was supposed to be delivered is by picking it up at the hub but if I choose to pick it up at a UPS store I always have to wait an extra day.

Don't know for sure, but I think it depends on the particular Walgreen location -- where does it fall on the FedEx route? If the delivery gets there by mid-day or early afternoon, I think you could pick it up same day/that evening.

I do know that when I did a Walgreens drop off of my trade-in for my Note20, the FedEx driver was in the store at the time. The counter person did her scan and I received a text message within minutes that my package had been received. By extension, I would think that as soon as the Walgreens person scans the package from the FedEx driver, you would receive a delivery text within a few minutes -- then go get it, up to store closing.

Not definitive -- just my thoughts.

It shouldn't take an extra day, but Samsung won't let you do that.

Last year I had my Note 10 Plus held at Walgreens and it arrived on the same day it was scheduled to be delivered to my home. It arrived at Walgreens early that morning and I was able to pick it up on my way to work.

Last year I had my Note 10 Plus held at Walgreens and it arrived on the same day it was scheduled to be delivered to my home. It arrived at Walgreens early that morning and I was able to pick it up on my way to work.

That's what I'm hoping I can do because I have a lot of issues with FedEx deliveries, even my Note 20 was on the Vehicle out for delivery on the Scheduled day and then they decided to Reschedule it til the next day, so I might give the pick up a try.

Odd, neither the tracking page nor the FedEx app will let me set mine to hold at a location. The page tells me it's a shipper restriction.

Before the package actually moved and it just said Shipping Label Created there was no option for it, but now that it's moving the option is there I clicked on it and it showed me all the locations near me I could pick up at.

Oh, I can SEE the pickup locations, but if I actually try to have it held at one it tells me that the shipper won't allow it...
