Pre-orders live for Tab S7/S7+

No. Just the free shipping

My hypothesis is that it really depends on when the fulfillment center worked on your particular order. My order went in 12 minutes after midnight on pre-order day, 2 Sep. It was confirmed before 12:30 am. Fast forward to the 18th -- my shipping label was created 4:27pm and picked up by FedEx less than an hour later (5:25pm). That pushed me to a 22 Sep delivery, because the "free expedited shipping" is 2 business days following shipment, wiping out 19/20 Sep, since they were Sat/Sun.

Perhaps others were more fortunate and had orders processed/labels created earlier in morning hours on the 18th, allowing for an earlier pickup by FedEx, and getting Friday counted as one business day, resulting in Monday delivery as second business day.

Just occupying the waiting time with theories -- no real facts to base them on, other than my own order. Seemed a bit interesting to have place a very early order and get a late-day label creation. Oh well. Tomorrow will be a better day!

My tablet just arrived a few hours ago. Ive been setting it up so far. My first impressions is wow! This thing is so much bigger than the s6 lol. I cant one hand palm this tablet like i could the s6... :-(

Received the tablet an hour ago and setting it up. Very slim and impressive to hold. Received its first 550MB update. Pretty impressive so far.

Same impression I had. Really need the keyboard case to arrive soon

Awesome! What are your first impressions?

1. It's huge! Huge! Did I mention it's huge?! I'm gonna be consuming so much media on this thing.
2. The screen is the best I've seen. The colors pop, blacks are black.
3. I love the SPen. It feels like an actual ink pen. It's not shaped like the S6. Only 1 side is flat (as opposed to 2 like S6) so it's very comfy to hold and to write with. Also, the Air Command button is smaller. I haven't accidentally pressed not 1 time. It's in the same place, just not as wide.
4. Writing is a dream. Uhhh! I love it. I actually notice the reduced latency. Seems like more pens/markers available. Also, the pen doesn't slide outta control even though the glass is slick to the touch.
5. It's not comfortable to hold without a case. Where the S6 has a curved/rounded sides toward the back, the S7+ is squared and sharp. "It doesn't feel good in the hands...ladies!" lol
6. It's blazing fast. Like before my finger leaves the screen the app opens. So fast.

Those are my impressions after about 30 minutes of use. When I powered it up, I had 55% power, so before I do a total set up, I'm gonna charge to 100 and let her rip.

Love it! That's great! Glad everyone that has it is enjoying it. I think I've watched just about every YouTube video unboxing and review on there about 3 times each, just waiting for mine.

Are you gonna switch, or keep it?

I want to order the 7+, but I'm waiting for the email from samsung with the additional $35 discount.
Contact them if you still don't have it. I got messages last week saying Thursday was the last day, so I bought. Turns out Thursday wasn't the last day. --Frustrating...

I didn't get the original email either, but I did get the "last chance" email.

I received it not so long after I made that post, and ordered it same day. Then canceled and reordered 2 days later for the 9% Rakuten cash back.

That's pretty much what happened. It was picked up on the evening of the 17th and really started moving on the 18th. It seemed so long because we ordered these things on the 2nd. That's 3 weeks ago! Lol! And I ordered everything this year: N20U, Buds Live, Watch 3 and this Tab. Everything was shipped to my job and got here by 10:30. This thing didn't come till almost 3! Ugh...I was fit to be tied.

You're fast! –Right after I posted that from my phone I saw that you had gotten the code and ordered, but you can't delete a post from an app. So by the time I grabbed my computer and pulled up the thread you had already replied. :D

I ordered last Thursday but only got 3% cash back from Rakuten. Two days later, the keyboard case was cheaper, so I've been thinking about cancelling and reordering. –Were you offered the 10% cancellation discount from Samsung?

Lol lol. Samsung is back to 10% Cash back in Rakuten, FYI. As to the cancellation, no such luck on the discount.

Ps, depending on such one you ordered, you may go to the back of the line in shipping. My tablet is due to ship the week of Oct 2.

Yeah!! Congrats!

What are your thoughts about the size vs the uncomfortableness in the hand? –Do you have it in a case yet? I was really worried about the size and am more worried now...

I have a case for it, but haven't used it yet. You definitely will need one. Although it's big, the size/weight isn't the real problem IMO. It's the sharpness as the sides meet the back. I certainly wouldn't advise against buying for that reason. It's easily fixable with a case.

While I'm eagerly waiting for my Tab S7 Plus the IPad pro will have to suffice.

What is "Ps"?

I went back to look at my order. I might have been wrong about the original cost of the keyboard cover. Did everybody pay $99 for it?

I'm hesitant to cancel because I used a promo code (other than the $35 pre-order discount), and I'm afraid that if I cancel it they might not reissue the promo code.

Has anyone else done this before? Did you get the code back?

When does the $35 and discounted cover actually expire?
