at first she stated they were available for pre-order and I jumped the gun and posted too quick. When she got to the pre-order screen she stated she did not see it. So I edited my original post to reflect the change.

Just got off the phone. My local store wasn't taking preorders, but he was speculating a Friday release...

i don't understand why you'd want to pre-order and get the phone on saturday (the earliest) when you can walk into a verizon store and pick it up in person on friday. i can't bare to wait an additional 24hours for this phone, lol

Relax, people. Those "pre-ordering" will get theirs after anyone else that walks into a VZW store on Friday.

409 359 5683 is a premium retailer and I spoke with agent X, she stated the Nexus had already been released at Verizon stores.
I also contacted my local store and agent X did confirm they received stock today 7406529540 and were "probably" going to release thursday or Friday.

I was willing to pay for Saturday delivery in case Verizon didn't ship it till Friday.

My store rep just called back and said she couldnt sell it before 12/8 and even though the store opens at 8am, come around 10:30am so she could get credit for the sale....Im like "Yea right" im already on the list so 8 am Im there...

I just tried to contact my sales rep at the Verizon in my area. She won't be in until tomorrow. I think I'm going call her tomorrow and see if I will be able to buy it at least on the eighth. It's worth a try.

You should wait. The sales rep is doing you a favor and it would be best if she were compensated for it. She won't do things like that again for you if you do that.

The original rep who called me/ put me on the list is who im doing business with at 8 am on 12/8...this other lady was trying to get herself a sale by telling me to wait till 10:30 am.
