Pre-Orders up on T-Mobile

Just got an email from TMo announcing they have opened up pre-orders for Note 3 and Gear. Was slightly disappointed since the subject line said "Note 3 is available now"--but alas, only pre-orders

Just went on and said they are shipping in 5 days, or something along those lines, so I expect them to start shipping on the 23rd. Sounds about right, that'd be awesome!

I placed my preorder at 2 am mountain time & it said shipping on October 1st. Maybe b/c I was probably one of the first ones?

Perhaps, I didnt order, since it says my upgrade price is 403 dollars.... I'm still trying to find out why so much. the only thing I can think of is remaining balance on my account from the s4? Although I'm trading in the s4 as soon as I get the n3. So any ideas lol

Ordered Note 3-Black early this morning through T-Mob website, it did take a while but finally went through. Received confirmation e-mail and text a few hours later. Current status says Order Placed and 'T-Mobile Estimated Delivery Date 09/26/2013'. Not getting my hopes too high on it arriving earlier than 10/02, but it would be great to have it by next week.

It looks like they are shipping them out on Monday, the 23rd. I pre ordered and did the free shipping and it says 26th expected delivery date, which is 4 days after monday. I should know by Monday if the numbet I ported over suddenly dies cause they always port over the number immediately.

Jayp, what phone are you using now? How much did you put down when got it?

I put 350 down on the One originally and my EIP was only like $10 per month. I think the upgrade price is so much because they want to keep your monthly bill at the same price? Idk .. Just taking a guess. My phone is paid off and they want $350, plus tax, $400 for the note 3. Then $300 to pay off at around $13 per month. I, gunna call them see if I can just put $200 down.

Yeah, that is what I did already. I have a $350 eip balance, and they want 403 for the note 3. I'm going to trade in my s4, as soon as I can get a note 3, to pay off my eip balance and continue to pay the same 21 dollars a month, and only put 200 down. The whole issue is that I cant do this while preordering, id have to wait until the phone comes to the store. Im pretty screwed, and with thr battery life on this thing, I'm really in need of getting a note back. Just stinks, I was thinking of trading this in early and pre ordering, but without knowing for sure I can't pull that trigger since I only have a blackberry bold 9700 to use lol

But this makes me wonder, it's $400(+tax) for me to upgrade on t mobile, even though I've already paid off my One. How much would it be if I was a couple of months into a contract with Verizon or ATT?

One of the things that got me excited about this new t mobile was subsidized prices after I paid off my phone, which is not what I'm getting.

Yeah ditto. I feel like if I pay 350 off, and have no eip, I should therefore get the note 3 for the 199.99 down price. I'm actually going to my local store here in a couple minutes... I plan to try to trade in my s4, pay off my eip in full, order my note 3 for overnight. Keyword is plan... I hope/wonder the truth to tmo shipping tomorrow???

Hey guys the reason you wouldn't get the $199 price is due to credit. I work for t mobile & the only way you wouldn't get the $199 price is the credit rating on the account, but after a year t mobile will give you the well qualified price as long as you aren't constantly late on the bill

I'm a single line account with a pretty decent credit rating and I always pay my bill within 3 days of being due. But I carry my eip per phone, which I think I may just pony up the bucks and pay retail for the note 3, and use money from my trade towards paying the remaining eip off. If you work for tmo can you verify the shipping of note 3s tomorrow?

Ah I see did you sign up for jump? At this point it wouldn't be beneficial to trade in the note 2 so close to pay off though. I'd just pay it off, sell it on eBay or craigslist, & do eip/jump with the note 3. Unless u plan on only keeping the note 3 until the note 4, but its nice to have options if something better comes along next year.

As far as the shipping goes I'm in as much dark as the rest of you. I preordered because t mobile has the policy that if there is limited handsets delivered customers get the phones first. My delivery date still says tomorrow but I haven't received a shipping confirmation. I called customer care & they told me all they see on their end is backordered & not to go by that date. They advised to just keep checking online for updates. When I talked to a Samsung rep on Friday he said that the note 3 should ship early to preorders , but didn't know any time frames
