Predictions: When will the Sprint GNex be released?

From what I have gleaned, only the 32GB GSM version has been cancelled.
AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM.

Sprint's 32GB version is CDMA and is still on track be released. Soon, I hope. Still thinking April 1st.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Didn't think I would ever see something that would make me want to upgrade like the Nexus does. I need this in my hands NOW!!!!!!!

EVO 3D, EVO Design, Photon, SG2 are all pretenders to the throne. none of which are big improvements over the OG EVO. in fact - i see them as inferior devices.

the G-Nex and G-Note are worthy upgrades.

I love your excitement for the Galaxy Nexus, but come on man, gs2>evo 4g??

I'm with Gekko...it's what all of the next gen androids will be based on if nothing else. This does kinda fall onto the same kind of argument my friends and I were having earlier. Like with music and even super high end smartphones it's only an opinion when it comes to the best one. For the Android super enthusiast, it'll be the Nexus for example. Which I do have to say would be myself. :D

do a side by side comparison of the displays. compare the same icons and the same web page. i was very disappointed in the display resolution of the SG2. icons are huge and web pages don't fit. not enough pixels for the size of the display. i greatly prefer the display on my EVO 4G. the EVO 4G has tighter pixels in a tighter display. and since the display of the device is what the user interacts with 100% of the time - it is very important to me. go do the comparison.

That's actually the reason why I was disappointed with the GSII as well. I really don't care about the colors if the resolution is so bad. It's one of the reasons I don't care about Windows Phone 7. WVGA was fine in 2010; QHD should be the minimum now, especially on a display larger than 4".

I have many many times. My sister has an Evo 4g and my brother in law has the S2. I agree the display leaves a lot to be desired. But the s2 is faster, has better battery life, a better camera, it's thinner, it's lighter, it has that new 800 mhz radio (so service is better?). Those are pretty convincing arguments in my opinion.

display trumps all IMO.

Plus the Nexus's sweet sweet Ice Cream Sandwich. :p

The guy at my local Best Buy was unaware of Sprint even getting the Galaxy Nexus.
Oh well. He helped me out with a couple of other things.

Just got the wife a Kindle Fire for her birthday. I am very now a very popular guy around here. O:-)

I had ordered in a pre-order of the AT&T note for a coworker last week. Not sure if he's got it all setup yet.

It's def too big for me to use. I think the Galaxy Nexus will be my limit as far as size is concerned. Unless they somehow master the bezel less display in the upcoming years, and keep the same footprint of size.

i played with the G-Note at the AT&T Store. they also had about 5 Reps from Samsung and a large "Be Noteworthy" display booth in the middle of the mall demoing the device. they were offering to draw your caricature on the device with the pen. the device has a beautiful display, fast, incredibly thin and light, well built. awesome device. surfing the web is a dream on it. unfortunately, the size is just too big for me personally. even coming from an EVO 4G and loving big phones. i'm not embarrassed by the size, nor do i think fitting it in my pockets would be a big deal. BUT constantly trying to grab and hold it and manipulate and move it in and out of pockets and from table and charging etc. would be too much because it is just too wide and too unwieldy - i could see myself constantly dropping it. i love the phone though Samsung did a great job and congrats and enjoy to everyone who got/will get one. i'm going to go with the G-Nex.

i wonder if the display size/aspect ratio might screw up some apps and widgets. for shiits and giggles i installed the Fancy Widgets 4x2 Clock/Weather Widget and it would not center on the display - it was pushed to the side. however i think once ICS is installed it will allow resizing. also - the Samsung Touchwiz Clock/Weather Widgets are beautiful as-is.

Please, read the title of this thread. Then think, "Is what I'm about to say relevant to the discussion?" If not, change your message or don't post at all.

Pretty please, with an Ice Cream Sandwich on top?

I subscribed to this post for one reason: to find out how soon I can get a Sprint Galaxy Nexus. If you have a prediction or some kind of evidence, please, tell me and everyone else who wants to know.

However, if you want to discuss the HTC Evo, the Samsung Galaxy SII, the Galaxy Note, or any other device, either there's another thread for that or you can create one yourself. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm a little frustrated after hopefully checking my daily email, day after day, only to find info in which I'm not interested.

Keep it relevant. That's all I'm asking. Please.

Cool post bro! How about turning off email notifications or how about you make your own thread. Not trying to be mean...just saying.
