You know what.....I don't even care if its the same as Verizon's. Its pure Google which means its mine. You buy a Nexus for the software experience not the hardware. :)

Sent from the greatest HTC EVO 4G ever made!!!

The statement is no longer applicable "You buy a Nexus for the...."

For what? no bloatware? bloatware is not why people chose one device over another.

Dual Core & Soon Quad Core, eat bloatware for lunch, no longer an issue...

For the quickest OS builds? errrrrrnt. not in the US Market. Gotta be GSM to enjoy those.

I'm still game for the Galaxy Nexus, but there aren't any concrete reasons anymore to choose it over anything else currently available.

Yeah I'm afraid to go ahead and buy a case. I guess I could and then eBay it if it's different.

That's what I did. It's not like people are gonna stop buying GSM and Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones once it comes out on Sprint. I may have to sell it and buy a new one anyway in order to accommodate the extended battery I'm contemplating.

I do find it surprising that the Nexus training docs are available and there's nothing in terms of announcements... in fact there seems to be nothing except for the raffle to encourage excitement over the release of this device. I wonder if it will go on sale as unceremoniously as the Verizon model? Just seems a bit anticlimactic to me, considering we are mere hours away from the unveiling of the new HTC device.

Sometime after the evo one. If the evo one is in june think august for the Gnexus. But by then rumors of the next nexus should start trickling out.

i love my OG EVO and the EVO LTE looks to FINALLY be its worthy successor. however - i'm still getting the G-Nex because i'm tired of Sense and bloatware getting in the way.

Nexus will be released earlier than the EVO.

Would not make sense to release the Nexus, then the GS3 within a month.

I too will also stick with my original choice and get Sprint's Samsung Galaxy Nexus in (hopefully) 17 days.

Today is the last day of the DataStorm giveaway.
Good luck to all.

Mav.

It is the EVO 4G LTE for me. Good luck with the GNex guys. I can't wait to hear all about it. Going to be a killer phone. I will be jealous when you guys get Jelly Bean waaaay before we do.

I was really looking forward to the Galaxy Nexus, but I think I'll just wait on the new Evo LTE now.

Nexus will always have better software and support but the Galaxy isn't showing any advantages now besides being a Nexus. I think waiting so long to release it has been a major mistake.

Yup, they dropped the ball and waited too long.

Reasons
(1) HTC's new camera
(2) HTC's new camera
(3) HTC's new camera
(4) Super LCD2 display
(5) Beats Audio
(6) Dedicated camera button
(7) 1.5 GHz processor

What i'll miss out on without the GNex
(1) Software Updates
(2) Pure google
(3) Dev support

Like I've said a few times already...I took over 2,800 pics on my phone last year. So the camera is big for me. I can run a ICS launcher like Nova or APEX that will give me the stock feeling.

I feel you guys on wanting the EVO, I began drooling when I was looking at it yesterday. It's just....as much as I want to stay with HTC I want a Nexus just as much. I've already told myself I'm going to get it and that's that for me. Besides, if what everyone says about reception is true I'll just return it and use my OG EVO until the new EVO comes out...problem solved. :)

Ha. I've got 2 girls ages 4 and 1. On twitter it's just 6 of us guys from high school who follow each other and each other only. We post pics all the time on there. Funny stuff we come across. We've all been friends for 25+ years. I have a twin brother who has 3 kids, etc....

At the end of the year I always put together a video with all the pics.

good times

Gnex: RGB led notifications. I've seen these in person and holy cow they look cool. You can choose a bunch of colors. I'm so excited about getting this phone for this feature alone. Plus my nexus s is slow as molasses.
