Predictive and spell check not working

[Android Central Question]

I received my new s9 yesterday. I'm fairly ok with the setting side of things so set it all up okay but for some reason I can't get auto correct, spell check and punctuation to work. Its all switched on fine. I've reset the keyboard but no difference. It only shows me the word I've written and not make suggestions or changes. Also doesn't use punctuation. Any suggestions?
