Predictive text not working properly

After the recent update my predictive text is no longer working properly. It will highlight the correct word but when I press the spacebar a different word is entered that is not even visible anywhere on the screen. Any idea how to fix this? Samsung S7.

Jump into the keyboard settings and see if something had changed... Settings can slip after updates. Also a good idea to wipe cache partition after all updates...
