Preorders starting tomorrow? (Nov 29th)

Clearly if I wanted one I would have bought one.... sorry apple doesn't announce something and make you wait more than a week. But hey if you like waiting months after an announcement be my guest.

Maybe not but then again they sure as ish are willing to lauch a device to the masses on the same day. Knowing full well they don't have even a fractional quantity of the devices that will fill all pre-orders and walk in sales beginning on day 1. Usually lasting well past day 30, in backorder format. They're equally as frustrating as Verizon, it just boils down to differrent reasons. Ying Yang, my friend.

Didn't Apple announces they were making people wait for a new iPhone this year when they chose not to do their traditional June release?

Weren't most folks anticipating an iPhone 5 only to be let down with the iPhone 4s?

Doesn't really matter to me if I wait a month, was nice to know it's coming so i didn't blow my upgrade on the Razr or Rezound :)

Can't be any worse than the incredible shortages. Plus it is only 1 model that is sold out on the vzw site.

Amen! Methinks this is a generational thing. There certainly seems to be a 'sense of entitlement' in the millenials, largely born of the 'entitled' boomer generation. I read these forums and I'm amazed at some who feel 'entitled' to a silly phone while our great nation is burning to the ground all around us. Let's get our priorities straight, folks. Big red owes us nothing. They reserve the right to pull the GN football away at the last minute, leaving us to play the role of Charlie Brown again. That would suck indeed. But I think we can agree that we have just a few more important issues in this world, no?

Okay, putting the soap box away and ducking for cover now to avoid the onslaught of sharp objects flying my way...

You know what is awesome?. The fact that as of today we are 1 week away from being able to walk in and purchase one of these bad boys in store.

The difference is the iPhone sells because it has a fruit on the back. It could be the biggest POS ever and delayed for a year and it will sell record numbers.

Is it any different than people waiting for the little android guy to show up on the phone. No.... Except it won't sell millions of units.
