I didn't see any answers to this in the other JB threads, so I figured I would start one.

I side-loaded the Christmas leak, restored root, and also have the Razr M Launcher + Circle widget. Does anyone have step by step instructions on what I need to do to keep root, and get the update? Will it be pushed to me, or will I have to side-load it?

What steps do I need to take before I get the update?

For Titanium Backup, which type of backup should I do, just user apps, or system data too?

Thanks in advance!

Do system data too can't hurt.
Just use a program like voodoo ota root keeper.
Or, built in to superuser and supersu there is a feature to protect root. Any of those should save it. Then download the 40mb zip file for the update from Christmas JB (link to it somewhere on this thread) and go into recovery mode, select update from SD card, select it and you should be good to go.

I have Voodoo installed, and used it to keep root when I did the previous JB update. now my options are "delete su backup" and "temp. un-root (keeps backup)". Do I want to delete the current backup, and do a new one?

I believe I followed these instructions previously:
Open OTA Rootkeeper.
Choose ' Backup Root '
Choose ' Temp Unroot '
Choose ' Restore Root '
Choose ' Temp Unroot '
Choose 'Restore Root' (Yes, we did that twice. And no, you do not want to be Temp. Unrooted when you update.)

Install the update via external storage by booting into Motorola Recovery manually.

Restore Root in the OTA Rootkeeper app once booted into Jellybean.
