I have put my existing phone on ebay and want to know if there is any procedures i need to do to get the phone ready to ship. obviously i will do a factory reset but when i replaced my Dinc w/ Dinc2 there is no way to remove the Dinc from my hardware list on the android market website. i read somewhere about a procedure to remove the phone from the list. (i know you can disable it, but that is not the same) any other tips tricks etc. my BB in Greenville said they had a dozen of them ready to go but could not sell until 15th. Despite the ire i have verizon right now and everything they have done to severely trample this release, i am getting very excited.

Only thing I found was an option to hide them from the list when you select what device you want to download it to. I had a lot to hide as my list had ever phone I owned, even replacements were on there as well as tablets.

thats what im talking about. How damn annoying is that!! i read something about wiping the phone, putting a temp gmail account on it to move it over than blah, blah, blah, blah. anyone tried this or researched it?

I'd be interested to know if anyone's worked this out too. I had a Bionic for a week -- my first Android phone -- and couldn't remove it from the list after I dumped it.

Similarly, I wish you could buy from Android Market without needing to have a current phone registered. I've missed a bunch of decent deals on apps waiting on the Nexus... :(

well if you know anyone else with an android phone or tablet you could always log onto your account, buy the app, then log off.
The person who's phone/tablet you used would then get the app for free (but not be able to update it without logging into your account) and you would then own the app to install on a device in the future.

I do this to buy apps on my kids tablets but do not leave my account installed on them so they can not buy apps without me knowing
