Android Central Question

I have bought 2 Samsung Tab 6 10.1 tablets (android). How can I prevent my kids from moving around or changing the order of the app icons on the screen. Or accidently removing them all toghether? I want to keep it orderly... so they can find there way on both tablets easily. Thanks

I'm having the opposite problem. I've always been able to remove an app icon from my screen by holding it down and a "Delete" circle will appear to move it to but all of a sudden, all I get is a drop down menu listing several options but there is no way to select any of them, as if I move my finger toward the list, it disappears! Help!

What device do you have and what launcher are you using? Have you recently installed any new app or received a system update? Also, do you have the developer options enabled?

Just figured it out! When the list appears, take finger off icon and tap Delete on the list! Must be the "new way" to do it with the recent update.
