Price hike for Note 10.1

I was on Amazon.com yesterday and looked into my wish list where I had the 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 10.1. And I saw the price jumped from $499 to $549. I've been trying to save my money to get one. Now if I were wealthy $50 wouldn't be a big deal. But I'm not and I also live in CA and they rape you with taxes here.
Anyone else notice this there or anywhere else?

In the UK, pre Xmas you could get the Note for ?318, minus ?50 cashback from Samsung. Post Xmas the price is up to ?355-?399 depending which store.
Makes no sense to me

Try amazon ware house deals.. they are open boxes and as good as new and only around 430 usd for 32gb
