Does anyone know if it's true that you can go to Best Buy and get the Inc. for $199 without the rebate deal?

Also, what is the out-the-door cost of the Inc? I'm talking about no rebates or mail-in offers, etc., just the cost to walk home with a phone? Thanks.

at verizon with a 2yr contract out the door before rebates will run you 300+tax (in CA, tax is calculated on full retail price, so for us, it will run around 350 before mail in)

if you go to bby it will be 199+tax on the same contract, as bby doesn't do mail in rebates so they are all instant. (so again, for CA residents, they're going to be looking at around 250 otd)

if you don't sign a contract, the price jumps up because of the lack of subsidy, and i don't know if you even qualify for the MIR. so at vzw, it looks like it'll run 529+tax
