Prices for Pixel 3 & 3xl up on Canadian cell service site Freedom Mobile

I don't think they offer enough to be more expensive than last year. It was £749 for a 64GB P2XL last year and £650 for the P2. Don't know the UK prices for the 3 yet.

I agree with you. Then again, I don't think *any* phone should be $1000. I had a hard enough time swallowing the $900 payment for my Pixel 2... I couldn't imagine paying $1200 for a Pixel 3.

I'm surprised more people aren't put off that Google is charging these prices for 64GB base storage.

I never get upset when I think something is overpriced. I just don't buy it if it feels that way. If it's truly overpriced the market will correct itself.

Yep I think they should have offered a 256 gig version for the somewhat likely price hikes. They just aren't offering enough hardware wise to be anywhere near the same league as Samsung or apple price wise. They're trying to count too much on the pure Android experience, and quick first to get security updates and os upgrades, which I personally love and will never leave..... but I suspect the majority doesn't think like that :-[

I hope they don't get too ambitious price wise :O

I think most smartphone manufacturers are getting greedy now and are charging high price points for the phones simply because they can. Apple is always my prime example - as an iPhone XS is $1379 outright in Canada. That's two months' rent for me. It saddens me that Google may also go this route but I guess it doesn't surprise me.

Two months rent? That can hardly get you a basement apartment where I am for one month.

Actually Connecticut isn't bad, but New York is a killer especially where I live in Westchester

Of course CT isn't bad - they got me - :D

We also have very high taxes, people leaving every day, and can boast of being one of the worst states for business.

One of the best minor league ball parks, Dunkin Donut Park is in Hartford.

Getting off topic here but a friend of mine in New Fairfeld pays about 1/4 of what I pay.
