Prime conduction electricity in case?

If I have my Transformer Prime plugged in and I touch either the metal housing on the keyboard dock or the metal on the back of the tablet with a single finger, I can feel the subtle vibration of the electrical current. if I touch with an additional finger, the vibration goes away. I am assuming that is because I am then grounded.

Has anyone else noticed this? Can you do me a favor and try this... I never noticed this before, but I am assuming thats because I was grabbing with multiple fingers, not really lightly touching with a single finger.

Thanks much.

Never had this happen on mine, and definitely isn't happening now... Sounds like something isn't grounding properly, and/or a short somewhere -- definitely not normal.

It's definitely normal for both the original Transformer and the Prime. Just do as Leeshor says.

Seriously, this is a common issue? That's a bit concerning, though I suppose due to the nature of the travel adapter it may make sense in some way... still, I'm not comfortable with the idea of even a minor current travelling through the casing. Will have to try reversing my adapter and see if this happens with my unit, as I've always plugged it in the same orientation so far.

So, I can confirm that this does indeed occur on my unit. Strange, but it's almost a soothing effect on my fingers when it happens. Lol. Hope I don't slowly electrocute myself while web-browsing... :P

I wonder if this happens with other tablets? I've never noticed it with my Acer Iconia A500 before either, but I don't think I've ever plugged in the adapter upside-down. Will have to try it.
