Printing to my HP envoy 4500 from my nexus 5X...Can't find printer...

Just set up wireless printing from my Chromebook to the same HP envoy 4500 printer.

When I wanted to print from my new Nexus 5X android, I read that I had to download the HP Print Service plugin.... which I did download. It took a half hour to load (big program) and after verifying that my phone, and my printer are all on the same ( and only network), and checking to be certain that the plug-in was turned ON...,,the plug-in says "Can't find your printer"

EDIT ...... It now has found my printer, but says This Printer Isn't available now"...

I checked to be sure that I wan't out of paper. I checked that the printer was turned on. ????

Problem solved! Did some more reading and found where people were trying to use Cloud Print and having issues. When I took a good look at my phone, I saw that it automatically had selected Cloud Print, instead of the HP print app/extension. Once I chose HP print, it worked flawlessly. This "solution" is just posted for the next guy with similar issues. richg99
