Priority mode ringer

I have a nexus 5 and I always wear a smart. This means I always have my phone on vibrate only. At night it goes into priority mode for my downtime.

Lately I haven't been wearing a watch to bed and if someone rings (allowed through priority) I won't hear it because it's on silent.

Is there a way to have my ringer automatically turn on when my phone goes into priority mode? Alternatively maybe certainly contact's always ring regardless of ringer setting?

Ok while writing this I thought that this cannot probably be achieved with tasker. However, I would still like a more elegant solution.

Wow, does no one else want to try and achieve this? I would have thought this sort of thing would have been common with more and more watches being around.
