Pro at 500 / max 800 nits?

I'm very concerned about the 'brightness' of the Pro. My current phone maxs out at 1500. I rarely need to kick it up that high, but when I do, it's good to have it. I got this info off of Toms Guide. Hoping it's incorrect?

That seems to be a bit strange and on low side. Hmm not sure about that info. I would wait to see if it corroborated by other reviews.

I expect it to be typical Google.. They keep the screens lower on purpose..

Yeah pixels have always had low brightness issues when compared to other flagships like Samsung and oneplus.
