looks cool, cheap, and seems to have alot of support

how yall like this in terms of performance and battery life?

is it pretty smooth?

Easily gets me through the day. Email browsing a bit of streaming. I don't game much so no comment there. Highly recommended.

you mean the Optimus V?

if so, I would say its a "nice" phone. Its technically a smartphone but the ARMv6 cpu and HVGA screen resolution is being supported less and less. that, compounded by the fact that the phone has a tiny screen makes it difficult to live with day to day if you have large thumbs.

however, VMusas plan and pricing structure are tough to beat.

Its a good choice no matter how you look at it, just be warned the screen is tiny and it wont have the features of the big phones.

CM7 makes it very smooth and nice to use and scroll through. its NOTHING like other cheap prepaid android phones like the Huawei Ascend or even like MetroPCS's Optimus M. its much better than those

Small screen, small memory, the screen is obvious, the space can be dealt with.

It's not great at anything, but it does a lot well enough, and it's a tough little bugger.
Bang for the buck, it's one of the best deals in phones that there is.

What is your reason for buying a android?

Im not being nosy but it will help people to advise you.

LeslieAnn is pretty dead on with her statement. If your looking for a smartphone for the basics of email on the go and simple smartphone usability then get this device. If your wanting a android phone to play games on or for the ability to play movies or things of that nature dont get this device. You will be better off going with another carrier that has more up to date phones.
