Problem adding widget to Home Screen??

I've had this happen a few times and it's getting annoying.

I have a home screen setup with some widgets. If I end up removing a widget to add a new one, it won't let me.

I can hold the empty space and select a widget... but when I drag the widget over to the space (the space does highlight up), it doesnt want to add it.

The only way I can add it is to create a whole new Home Screen, duplicate my existing Home Screen, then add the widget.

Rebooting the phone doesnt seem to fix it either... only way I can tell is to recreate a new Home Screen.

Any ideas??
