Problem choosing a phone

I have a friend who I am trying to buy a phone from. He's selling a fairly new T-mobile G2 to me for a cheap $300, or a slightly used MyTouch 4G for only $275. Which do you think i should go for? I just need something to replace my P.O.S. Motorola Cliq . Not sure which i should choose, even based on reviews from cnet.com, mobileburn.com, and here. Any help on convincing me which to choose will be greatly appreciated!

It depends on your personal preference. Sense, or stock android. Keyboard or no keyboard.

I'd get the G2.
