Problem deleting apps

From my main app page, when I used to click and hold an app a menu would appear w 4 o5 options, one of which was "uninstall app" however now when when I click and hold an app it brings up the grid allowing me to move the shortcut, or moves the shortcut to my main page.

Why doesnt that menu appear anymore?...with the uninstall option.

Did you by any chance disable or turn off all animations in developer mode? I had the same issue until I updated Touchwiz which took care of the issue.

Wow, u nailed it. I moved it back to .5 rather than 0.0

I can't take all the credit since I learned that trick here on the forums when I had the same issue.

If you want to update Touchwiz, go here to get it instead of waiting for it to automatically update. https://www.sammobile.com/apk/touchwiz-home/ That will take care of the touch hold issue while still leaving all animations off. The only other thing leaving animations off causes an issue for (even with the latest TW update) is for the details part of the built in email app to not be fully displayed. So if you don't use the built-in email app, you'll be fine. I happen to use it for work so had to put my animations back to .5 as well. Really, the only one that needs set to .5 is animator duration, the others can be set to 0.
