Problem download TomTom maps

Hi, I have bought and installed the app TomTom west Europe. When I try to download the maps in the startup menu to my Samsung Tab2 (GT-P5110) the download stops at 2.73 of 2.74 GB and a lot of files and folders are missing. I have tried it several times with the same result. No micro SD installed.
Any suggestions?

I got 6.7 GB free after the download.

What errors are you receiving or does the download just "fail" at the very end? Erase what is already downloaded then try again.

I have tried that also. The download stops with the same message ( that probably is wrong) 2.73 GB of 2.74 downloaded (and a lot of folders are missing).
It seems to me that the lack of SD-card support on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with Android ver 4.0.4 is the root of my problem (and TomTom?s) It?s not possible to move the installed TomTom app on Tab2 with standard procedure to the SD-card and the download the maps. ( When I install a cracked TomTom app and the maps in the root of the SD-card I got it working but I want to use my bought TomTom app to get map-updates.)
