Problem Flashing Gala X Rom

Hey we ready, did you ever load the build props? I'm wondering if they load similar to themes (i.e. Without wiping my data). Also was it worthwhile if you did?

Also were you on soul seek?

thirdeye.. yes they load just like themes. use bootstrap and then DL and install just like you did with theme.

I just froze at:
Finding update package
Opening Install package
Installing update....

And now its stuck

question for you now

yep..figured that one out.. thanks for the tip though.

i have had a crazy 24 hours with my DX . will explain when i dont need to go to bed. but the end result is me having OTA 2.2 , rooted of course. now my question to you ( or anyone) is i used fly x when i was on the leaked 2.2 , because i wanted a black notification bar put on blackmodz.. now that im (official) how do i get just a black bar , no rom , no theme , just black bar?

I think you can just get the black bar from rom manager.. but i'm not 100% sure, maybe someone who has done it will answer

I've never messed with the build props because I'm not exactly sure what they do or what they are for.

Yes I was on soulseek. comunidad enferma.

1. download and install the bootstrap application
2. open the bootstrap app and click the first icon (make sure you get a success)
3. close bootstrapp
4. download, install, and run rom manager
5. flash your recovery
6. download rom
7. click on onix concepts
8. select the gala x theme and click download
9. choose the options you want and click ok
10. when the rom finishes downloading it will ask you if you want to wipe data/cache and also backup the current rom.

DON'T wipe data and cache, but it might be a good idea to backup your rom (unless you've done this recently and don't want a backup)

11. when you click ok, the phone should reboot into recovery and flash the zip and then boot back into the OS.

that should do it. there was an update to gala x released so i typed that as i updated my theme, so i don't think anything is missing :)

I followed this, and I start to reboot into recovery, but then it stops and continues rebooting as normal. Where did I go wrong?
