Problem Restoring from samsung cloud

I got my new Note 7 after giving back the S7edge I got as a loaner and tried to restore the apps I had backed up into samsung from my previous dangerous Note 7. However, I keep getting this error:
Failed to restore:
A network error has occurred.
Some data is missing. To
prevent losing the missing data
permanently, try restoring your data
again before backing up.

Nothing is showing up.

I finally quit using the verizon cloud and back up my contacts just to my google. Not sure but think you can back up app data too. It is so much easier and now i disable verizon cloud as soon as i get s new phone. You might consider that if it is an option.
 
had the same issue. I figured out to restore them separately. Worked for me to restore each option one at a time. i saved homescreen and Apps last. those two you have to do at the same time. Only way i could get it to work without failing
