Problem trying to install .232

I downloaded the leak from Obsidian's For Ics Leaks /root/roms/fxz/rsd/threads/guides/safestrap/bootstrap/***all Download Links In Op Updated Daily*** - DroidRzr.com. I transferred it from my computer to my SD card and when I go to install it from recovery it aborts every time. Am I missing something or is there somewhere else to get it from?

Did you also install the Moto drivers and RSDlite? You'll have to FXZ to .902, then take the OTA to .905, then flash .232 from sd card. It's not exactly that simple, but it's not far from it either.

Does it give you an actual error during the installation process, or do you not even see the installation file in recovery mode?

It was a cinch for me. I wiped system cache, but didn't factory reset. Dropped the zip on my external card and booted into recovery and installed it. That's it, no special downgrades, RSD, drivers, etc to deal with manually.

Are you sure you put it on the external SD card, not the internal SD.

I did put in the SD card (shows up in my SD card files). I cleared cache and dalvik cache and then went to apply update from SD card. The error I get says:

you have to download 905 to your computer. and rsdlite it to your phone.

then you do the normal wipe and all and upgrade 232 gfrom your phone sd card.

be careful though. there are two 905's floating around. one works. one don't.

took me a whole day to figure out how the heck 232 could be rock solid when my phone was nothing but crap.

now she's finally working.

and that link you posted is a pretty big page with a lot of garbage. go over to xda-devlopers.com to get some plain and simple instructions.

first look for the thread to install 905. that's where i got the clean rom. then look for the thread to upgrade to 232 so you can download that. it also has instructions for doing a couple of liquids also. but i didn't like those.

Just so others looking for a solution to that error know what the issue is it's caused by having bootstrap recovery installed while trying to apply the update.
