Android Central Question

Hello,

I'm facing some annoying issues trying to sync my contacts.

It all started when they were not syncing with my Google Account (GA) properly.

Hence, I moved all of them to the phone memory, removed my GA, restarted the phone, and added the GA again.

Now, when I try to move my contacts back, the phone simply does not recognized my GA anymore in the stock dialer (or contacts) app.

I've also tried downloading Google's Contacts app, but it does not show the option to move the contacts to my GA either.

Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! How did you try moving the contacts from the Phone account back to the Google account? That's actually not as simple as it sounds -- you'd have to export them as a vcf file and then import them back to your Google Contacts: https://support.google.com/contacts...GENIE.Platform=Android#zippy=,from-a-vcf-file

Also - which phone, running which version of Android? If it's old enough the sync process may now be broken because the Google framework on the device is outdated and unsupported.
