Android Central Question

I've had a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 since last year. Recently my s-pen broke so I had ordered a replacement. This one is original and imported.

Now my problem is that this new s-pen's pressure sensitivity is a lot different from my original pen's -- it's a lot LESS sensitive. Being an artist I draw on my phone a lot and this is kind of a big problem personally.

Things I've tried:
• Try every replacement nib that was included in the original box
• Resetting my phone
• Performed a system update

I've done a little research but the only thing I found was adjusting it manually through the button of the pen or something, but I'm quite hesistant to do that. I was wondering if there was any other way to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

No, that's the way of adjusting it. Even in a single lot of S Pens, different ones will be adjusted differently. (It's not really pressure sensitivity - there's an extra layer on the screen that detects the pen electronically - that's the sensitivity you're adjusting.)

I see. So why does the screen react to both s-pens differently? Is that the only way I can let the new pen act like the old one?

The two pens are evidently set differently. Just pop the cover off the side of the one that's not working the way you want, turn the control about 10° in either direction. If it gets a little better, keep turning it in that direction until it's how you like it. If it gets worse, keep turning it 10° in the other direction until it's how you like it.
