Problem with photos timestamps

Hi,
I have a problem - every time I open the sim drawer and put it back in (with the sd aswell) some pictures get their timestamp changed. that makes the whole gallery a mess and there's no longer chronological order. the files names stays the same (with the right date and time).
it means that the problem is with the sd card or the phone? how can I solve that?

The file timestamps are not related to the image timestamps (capture date, edit date).
The image timestamps are contained in the EXIF data of the image.

If your picture viewing app is looking at the file timestamps when it should be looking at the image time stamps, you need a better picture viewing app. I like "piktures" by Diune.

To assist with this potential problem, my phone's camera names the files using the capture date and time so that sorting by name is the same as sorting by capture date. How is your camera app naming the files?
