problem with streaming video

When i stream videos off the web every couple of seconds the screen goes black. Like when the progress on video playback with play and pause and time remaining is supposed to disapear. Whole screen goes black then have to tap it to bring it back. Any suggestions on how to keep it from doing that or changing a setting or something that might be causing it? Thanks in advance.

Are you using google chrome? I had the same problem before, but not sure how it fixed itself lol, now it works fine. Btw, stock browser is my default browser, its better than Chrome.

I love using GC and had to find a way to fix it. All go need to do is go to Settings > Developers Options > Disable HW overlays. Then its fixed.
