Problem with SYNC 'logins' info....(question)

for the purpose of this post:
device A: laptop macbook, Firefox latest version
device B: LG K10, also Ff latest ver.

I accidentally deleted all my saved logins on device A (laptop) but luckily have them synced and saved (sync is disabled for now) on device B.

How do I get device B (LG) to send the login info (I know I will simply just check the box) to device A (laptop, "login" box checked) and that when I sync it wont automatically just delete all the logins thinking it was a sync the other way?

(does this make any sense at all?...it does to me)

**Does sync work like this?**
the device with the fewer data (in my case "A"), always receives from the device with the greater data (in my case "B")?

OK, so I decided to try it and it worked.
I was able to sync logins and all my logins came back to the laptop.

I was going to delete this thread, but I won't because maybe some other dumb old person (like me) who doesn't really know what all this stuff is anyway, may someday show up here and have the same old person query.

So, there it is.
It works. It's a lot like water, "the sync seeks its level"
