Problems after AT&T Update?

So since I applied the AT&T update, I've had the following problems:

-Stock messaging app doesn't send text messages. A restart will fix this, but do I really have to restart my phone every time to send a text? Ridiculous.

-Notification badges on apps that do not have any notifications.

-Notification badge displaying incorrect amount of notifications.

-General lag.

-Google Play Store downloading, but then not installing apps.

Please note that force closing the apps in question and even restarting the phone do not remedy most of these issues.

I have even tried wiping my phone and the issues persist. If i can ever get Android Messages to download and install i believe I can remedy the texting problem.

Does anyone else have these issues or other issues after the update?
 
I have not had any of those issues. I use Nova, though, so the badges are handled by it.

I believe you mean Google Messenger, not Android Messages, oh wait did Google change the names of their app yet again? Just saw that. Lol. Terrible. Anyway, I'd highly recommend Textra instead. It's far better IMO.
 
None of those issues for me but I did experience a major lag when I pushed the Bixby button accidentally today. I pushed it and Bixby popped up 2 minutes later. Strange.

I took care of that issue by sawing off the button a week ago.

Ok I didn't actually saw it off, but I disabled it 😎
 
the red tint update on att. after 3 restores it works now. shouldn't take that much effort to have a functioning device but it is what it is and I'm happy now.
