Problems After Installing TouchWiz?

I've notice a couple problems after the install.
1. Browser won't synch with chrome.
2. Old Browser bookmarks are gone.
3. New saved bookmarks don't appear, no bookmarks appear in folder.
4. Bootloader no longer unlocked.
5. The Pulse App was uninstalled.

Perhaps the reason one Pulse is missing is that maybe you still had a pulse notification or a widget on your homescreen?.. there were instructions about not doing that.. but just a guess?

I had the bookmarks problems BEFORE the update! New bookmarks made on the tab did not show up. Finally, after two weeks of ownership, SOME of my Chrome bookmarks appeared, maybe half of them. Not sure yet what state it's in now after the update.

Really laggy after install, but after doing factory data reset it flies.

Have the same problem with the browser, bookmarks aren't syncing. Was fine when it was on vanilla honeycomb.The homepage doesn't even start up, it just shows the most recent pages instead of starting at google homepage. It also seems to be a tad slow, not so much though. See what happens after a few playthroughs.

None of those issues for me including the bootloader. Mine still has the unlocked icon at startup. All bookmarks are still there, Pulse is still as it was, and everything seems to fly now.

** Correction: My bootloader is now gone.

ONLY problem I had was when I tapped my Contacts icon it said the app wasn't installed, but removing that icon and re-adding the contacts icon to the screen worked and it opened fine.

That's really the only thing I've found so far.

I still have the unlocked icon at startup too and have found that everything is super smooth and fast.

Looks to me like (possibly for the first time?!?) a manufacturer's "enhancements" upgrade is truly an upgrade! Everything seems fantastic. I'm a bit shocked!

My bookmarks are empty and won't Sync with Chrome either.

Syncing with an Exchange server is taking longer than before the update, sometimes it just hangs a bit before it pulls anything in. My phone pulls it in quick so i know it's not my Exchange server.

I've already deleted my Exchange account from the TAB and re-entered it, still hangs at times and you just see the synch icon in the top right corner in the mail app just spin.

You can fix the bookmarks issue by doing a 'Force stop' followed by a 'Clear data' for the Browser under the Manage Applications settings.

Why not keep it stock in the first place, that's what I told my friends who owned a tab to do.

After installing the update, mp4 video files are no longer playing. I get an error saying, "Sorry, can't play this file type," or something along those lines.

If you have not already done, you can stop that:

Browser > Settings > Labs > Most Visited Homepage = Un-Check

Quick Controls are here too. Loved this on my old XOOM.

Your friends are going to miss out on a great update then. Not only does everything look nicer, the a new added features are great, especially the upgrades to the browser. It's blazing fast now!
