Problems connecting s4 active to motorola bluetooth and car

Hello! I am very new to the android world. I have had an iPhone for the past I don't even know how many years and it finally started annoying me so I converted... Anyways, I have a 2012 honda civic that I had no problems at all connecting both my iPhone 4s and 5s to. Same with the motorola H500 bluetooth that I have. But neither will connect to the s4. I have been trying to read through similar questions and anything suggested isn't working.

Has anyone had a similar problem and been able to fix it? Do I maybe need a newer bluetooth? PLease explain as simply as you can as I am still getting used to all the differences between apple and android! Thanks!
