Sound is far too low, despite being turned all the way up.

Images in gmail and the browser bog the device down terribly.

Menu keys do not light up enough, very dim.

Any ways to fix these?

Menu keys - no fix
Sound - my ringtones and notifications sound fine. did u adjust the volume all the way in the settings?

what do you mean bog down the device?

Volume sliders are at Max.

Bog down. Images make my scrolling stutter in gmail and browser

The first S 4G I bought had really dim buttons. Really dim. First thing I checked in the store. Reps said no it's fine until they held it up to their demo unit. They gave me a new unit. But, yeah, unless it's very dark the buttons are very dim. That can be fixed. Same with the sound issue. I don't get the no charge light. No easy way to see if the phone is fully charged. Strange.

Use Noled from the market for the charging light and other notification settings

I agree that sound is waaaaay too low. My wife's EVO can be heard across the house when playing music. I can barely hear this NS from 5 feet away. And yes, the volume is all the way up.

I had a weird issue where the home button didn't work and the lock screen just wasn't there. But a OTA shortly after getting home fixed that. Now I have an issue with YouTube, the market and in settings say its installed but it's not in my app drawer. Anyone else have this issue?

Couple problems/beefs:

Problem: Can't clear new voicemail notification icon
Beef: No visual voicemail app???

Problem: Menu buttons seem real dim.

while I understand, I thought VVM was dumb when Google Voice comes into the picture.

Reinstall them from the market place

I put dropbox on mine and now I can't get rid of the pictures in the gallery. Does anyone know how to delete these pictures????

I really don't have an issue with the dim keys they are always in the same place as long as they work then dim means less power.

I agree on the volume. I've adjusted all the profiles and they are very low especially compared to my EVO. I have to have the notifications volume almost all the way up to hear the notifications (I've tried different notification sounds). I'm hoping this is something that gets addressed with an update.

Yeah, I'm hoping, as I don't think the alarm is loud enough to wake me up, which is a problem. The Evo I could cause a small earthquake with the sound it put out..

I have noticed the won't charge from the 95% myself, didn't really bother me. I never whine about battery life. The Backlight Buttons, i thought they were kinda dim, but again, I didn't really care. The speaker is for sure on the low side. When I was setting up my alarm clock I was worried I would even wake up to it. At full volume this morning didn't have a issue.

The only software gripe I can find so far is theres no pinch and zoom in the e-mails so far, and the scrolling is harder to preform in a e-mail. Everything else has been buttery instant smooth.
