Maybe that's why I'm having issues because I I have it connected to an LG v20 ??????
I will connect it to my iPhone and see if it operates the same.

I figured it said that. That's why I specified I didn't. I'm just not sure if that would actually have an affect like this on the battery.
Appreciate the reply. Good to hear it should get better. Should I let it drain completely before giving it a full charge, or should I turn it off before it's completely dead?It would. The watch needs to calibrate with the battery to give you accurate battery percentages. Charging to 100 percent helps that process. You should see perceived battery life grow over the next couple weeks, just like a cellphone. Basically the best an electronic device can do is guess at the true battery state of charge.
Most manufacturers will leave a little reserve charge in lipos so you can't actually run them to zero and damage them. That being said, I wouldn't run them purposely below 20 percent if you can help it. Newer battery algorithms are usually good enough where you don't have to fully discharge a battery to establish an accurate baseline.Appreciate the reply. Good to hear it should get better. I'm also having battery issues. Got mine last night, messed around on it then turned it off. Threw it on the charger real quick this morning and got it up to 80%. Took it off the charger around 630 am. It's now 1 pm and I'm at 21%.
You guys getting good battery life, what are your settings? Display brightness, alway on turned on or off? Etc.
So far this battery life is terrible. Maybe if I give it a full charge it will perform better. (didn't fully charge it when I first got it)
Thanks. I was hoping for more of a hands on breakdown. Saying compatibility is "limited" doesn't give me much to go on other than its, well, limited. But to what degree? Totally unusable or just not as good as it would be otherwise. It's also says Samsung Pay works with other phones but everything I've read from people who have "other phones" would say otherwise.
Where did that chart come from? I'm asking because I'd like to read the footnotes associated with the "limited" bullet points.
I also don't really care about Samsung pay. Can you go into a bit more detail about the incompatibilities? What I'm really curious about is the email, text, call notifications. Really just the basics I guess.
Just to update this. I let it fully charge last night. Took it off the charger just over 2 hours ago and am only down to 94%. So ~3%/hour. Much better than yesterday.
