Problems receiving texts from Verizon users

I'm going to the ATT store after work to see what can be done. I've tried what you all suggested with no luck. I hate that I went to ATT just to get the free N20 (with bill credits) now.

Try this... Go to settings>connections >mobile networks>APN. Top of the page you can edit or add APN's. Add this APN. Type it in exactly how you see it here Restart phone after, and give it a try. I get better signal strength with this APN, maybe it can help you.

He said he went to Att to get the credits, so it sounds like he's a new customer. Either way, I hope OP gets it straightened out.
Doesn't hurt try another sim

It should be configured correctly if done by store

Correct again. But it's been documented by other users, including me that they have had better success with the NXTGEN APN as opposed to the Enhancephone APN. He loses no features, and if he's willing to try it, go for it.

I will try your APN with for my Att , I don't have issue but if it works better why not

Trust me, I was pulling my hair out with this issue. I didn't want to change carriers because I hate Verizon and T-Mobile isn't as strong in my area and I need Wi-Fi calling for work. I was willing to try anything. If someone would have suggested rubbing dog poo on phone would fix the MMS issue, I would have done it, lol.

Poo huh lmfao

So, even after acknowledging that this is a known issue with the N20 Ultra when calling ATT tech support again, their best option is to send me a replacement under warranty phone. I think I'm going to sell it New on eBay and pay it off, get an unlocked phone in the meantime and go back to TMobile. Jesus.

If you have choice, then anyway better to jump to tmobile or Verizon since atleast unlocked models work with all carrier features unlike crappy AT&T.

Even this one doesn't work. Ugh. I've tried everything.

I really appreciate everyones help. I have tried everything. I may be buying our the warranty replacement phone they are sending and going to TMobile again. ATT service sucks. Not worth the deal I got.I will be getting unlocked from now on.

If you search these forums and find the threads that discuss SMS/MMS issues, most of them are phones that are locked to At&t. But At&t gives the same answer every time someone calls, it's not on their end. My wife and I had so many issues with our S20U's that we gave up & we both got N20U's. Now, I haven't had any issues, but my wife said last night that she had issues sending pictures or group messages.

So, switching phones resolved it for you?

Well, AT&T wouldn't allow me to return the phone, but sent a replacement phone under warranty. I got so fed up that I paid off the phone in full and listed it. Just this morning texts from Verizon users started to work again. Of course!! I switched to TMobile again this afternoon and I have an unlocked Note 20 U coming tomorrow. I will sell the replacement phone at a loss but oh well. I'm grateful I'm able to. I will not ever get a carrier locked device or go back to ATT. Ever.
