Problems rooting my phone

I downloaded LG ADB drivers and then Rosenberg's root stuff. I extracted everything and followed the instructions from Root LG Spectrum Smartphone Method By Dan Rosenberg but it is stuck at 'waiting for device' and does nothing else. I have an LG Spectrum.

Not knowing anything about your phone but knowing enough about ADB/fastboot, make sure that you have the LG driver installed(so that your phone is a recognized device on your PC). Don't forget that a reboot may be needed post install. And if that doesn't help try unplugging/plugging the USB cable. Usually the problem is the former but the latter doesn't hurt either. Alternatively make sure that USB debugging is turned on. Although if it wasn't I think you'd get a hard failure.

If all else fails. Post this in your respective device forum. I'm sure someone there can zero in on the issue.

Turns out the issue is because the LG drivers are NOT installing successfully. No idea why.

I unroot my phone so that I could try to upgrade it but now I can't upgrade or even root it I have a incerdible 2 NEED HELP

This isn't the right forum to ask this question. Go to the rooting forum for your phone and you should be able to get some good help.
