problems since last update any help please

Hi all
New here so hello all
I've got a nexus 7 and I think its great for the money.
When I first got it it worked fine and the battery life was very good
However the first update caused problems with the browser closing and some other apps so I updated all I could and it was better.
The last update the other day has caused major problems. When its locked it will display the lock screen randomly very often enough to drain a 50% battery over night. Also I can open an app and it can go to lock screen although this doesn't happen too often.
Also what are all the services running that seam to want to share all my private data ? Things like Google Korean keyboard etc.

Any help much appreciated before it goes and I get another iPad 3

Hasn't anyone got any ideas?
I've tried everything I can think of.
It still does it with the WiFi off
In case it was software I've just unlocked it, flashed recovery and installed glazed 2.1
I thought it was fixed but after 2 hours its just started again.
Its locked but the screen lights up on. Then off repeatedly. Also it can bomb out of apps and lock on its own?
In case it helps whilst it was in boot loader or recovery mode it was fine the whole time and it was a few hours
Any ideas anyone ?

Have you tried a full reset? It'll wipe the slate clean so you can start from scratch. Also, you mentioned unlocking and installing something. Were you unrooted and running something other than stock Android? Maybe that has something to do with it. If so, head over to the hacker's subforum. Sorry, that's about as far as my knowledge takes me.
