Problems with Gallery crashing

Has anyone with a Thunderbolt had any problems with the Gallery crashing? It opens but immediately closes. I have seen this problem mentioned regarding the Droid. I have tried all of the "fixes" recommended but none of them work. I thought that since the Thunderbolt is an HTC phone that there might be some other ways to fix the problem.

I went into Settings - Applications - All Applications - Manage Applications - All. I then went to Gallery, Media Storage, and Media Container Storage and cleared the data. I then rebooted. It seemed to work for some of the Droid users but not all. No Thunderbolt users were in on the forum.

If that didn't work, you might want to try this: Go into the Gallary app and select to HIDE everything. Then, unhide things one at a time until you find what I'm thinking might be a corrupt image causing the issue.

And if the above doesn't' work, put the SD card into an adapter, put it in your PC and perform a chkdsk /f (fix/repair disk) on it. Then reinsert into the phone and try again. could be some other corrupt file structure.
