Was playing on my Optimus and it suddenly went blank. Now all it does is flash the LG symbol. It isn't modified or nothing, just a stock phone. Did my battery die or what? It's only 2 weeks old...help!

Thanks for any and all help.

Did you plug it up and then try to start it? If you did sounds like you got one of the bad ones, time to go to sprint and get yourself a new one. Shouldn't be an issue....

Found the problem, the charger I was using was not the charger that came with the phone. As soon as I plugged it in for the night, it worked so I get the "DOH" of the day:o. The charger was for my bluetooth and had the same plug and it showed charging on my phone so I figured it worked. Thanks for the help I received.

Hmmm, I have never had an issue with charging my cellphone on my bluetooth charger, if its micro-usb then it's the same plug and the same wattage as far as I know....but interesting to say the least.

More than likely, the cell phone itself monitors the wattage coming into the battery, if it is a plain ol' usb cable. If it is an AC plug that is wired directly to the micro-USB end (not one that the plain ol' usb cable could plug into), the transformer that the two metal spades come out of would most likely control at least the maximum flow of juice.

Well, I use the usb cord to charge through my computer and charges fine just like using what wall charger but it doesn't through my bluetooth charger...lesson learned...:o

thanks guys.
