problems with my s2

[AC Question]

I bought a Samsung galaxy s2 a year ago, which was second hand, and I went on the app store to download the basic apps like facebook, instagram, Skype etc it kept on saying " your device isn't compatible with this app" , and I don't know why, also now I try to go on the actual app store connecting with wifi and that now doesn't work either

Welcome to Android Central! Did this just start happening, or has it always been a problem? Maybe the phone was intended for a different country. Can you tell us the exact model number? It should be in Settings>About Phone​.
