Problems with new update...

Battery drain.. by looking at the forums, this seems to be a common one... I unplugged my phone from 100% charge at 10AM yesterday, the phone sat next to me on my desk almost completely unused, and by 3PM was beeping at me that it needed to be recharged. I was completely flabbergasted... This had NEVER happened before the update unless I left a battery hog app running...

Second complaint... My email is no longer instantly pushed. it's now only a 15min sync... try to get it to check your mail sooner than that and it tells you that it can't do it more than once in 15 minutes.. maybe I missed some mystical option to turn that off, but I want my mail delivered to me as soon as I receive it. I'm not talking about Gmail.

I dislike when developers mess with things that have worked fine since I've owned an android phone...

I use the built in email app that comes with the phone. it has worked flawlessly for the past 4 years (multiple phones) until about a week ago.

Battery Drain is as follows

Screen 48%
Android System 16%
Media 15%
Facebook 7%
Android OS 5%
random game I played this morning 3%
Media Server 2%
Cell standby 2%
Device Idle 2%

I've been off power for 2 hours, and I used my phone for about 15 total minutes this morning.. 82% power and falling.

Do you see a lot of notification msgs that say "SD card mounting" or unmount, or scanning?

When all my apps updated after 4.3 it killed a 100% battery charge on my phone.
