Hello anyone.

I have just discovered that my Samsung A71 has a section called 'removed apps and data that has been using 12-14 GB per month. I have NOT removed any apps for some months now. I just consistently use a few basic things on it - a navigator, some Instagram and YouTube and some internet and spotify. These take up some gb of usage but not my whole data plan. 'Removed apps and users'ia wiping out my data account. How can I stop it from doing this?

Welcome to Android Central! Removed apps and users would not be constantly using data -- it's purely historical. It might just be a bug in the system setting and how it's being reported. Can you show us a screenshot of what you're seeing? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

For your own peace of mind, you could check with your carrier (or ISP, if you're mostly on wi-fi) to see how much data you're using, and see if that correlates with the 12-14 GB per month that the system is reporting.

Welcome to AC!
Usually they supposed to go away next battery cycle, do you let it go down to 15% then charge to 100 since the removed apps? Can also clear cache in recovery and check the status again.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a specific question? Have you read through this thread? Just showing a screenshot of background data usage doesn't mean a whole lot ...
