problems with root

Hi all. I rooted my Gnex out of the box in January and have never really had any issues with it until recently. For the last few weeks, I acn't get any programs to accept root access. This includes Titanium Backup and Light Flow. I tried reinstalling the superboot program that I installed back in January but still no good. Just now, I downloaded SU Update fixer and it says
"Gaining Root Access... FAILED"! I am trying to flash a new radio to my phone and cant really do anything without root access. Don't know what to do. Any help greatly appreciated.

did you update your OS anytime recently. you might have lost your root.
do u have superuser app and does it still have root access. then go to settings and update su.

This may all of happened when I updated to JB. I just now uninstalled and reinstalled my SU app and am really screwed now. The answer is I DON'T have root access anymore so how do I get it back?

go here Superuser
download superuser ARM 3.1.3
place it phone storage and flash it using recovery. the same way you did previously when u rooted.
