problems with smart lock

I'd like my S8 phone to stay unlocked when I'm at home, ie: when connected to my wifi access point but can't work out how to set this. I went in to settings/lock screen/smart lock, entered my PIN and pressed trusted devices/add trusted device but i just get a blank white page, I'm connected to my wifi but there's no way to add anything.
I've also got my home location set in trusted places but still my phone locks when its at home.

Save more places just make each one a little bit off from the others a few feet I have about 6 or 7 i think works all the time now .

Welcome to the world of 'nobody knows how to fix smart-lock' at the Google'z HQ. No matter how many of the tricks you look up online it will always resort back to NOT WORKING. Move the pin, add more locations, clear the cache, disable/delete/wipe your phone, whatever steps you find there is no cure....NO CURE. :-[

The phone will re lock after 4 hours if not used .
