Problems with wifi disconnecting after jellybean update? Try this

I ran across this and mentions being for Verizon phones, but is from last year and the XDA site hosting the needed dole says it's no longer needed. Anyone think it may correct our current issue?

I have an Asus TF201 running Android JB 4.1.1. I kept losing connection to my wireless network, taking forever to authenticate, signal extremely weak... As I don't have WIFI on my ADSL router, i'm using a DWA-160 to share my wired connection from my Win7 PC and provide wireless connectivity to my tablet. I permanently solved the issue seconds after reading your post by opening Device Manager and then my DWA-160 properties. In Advanced tab, I changed wireless standard from Auto/bgn to 802.11n only.

Since then, my connectivity is excellent, always at 4 bars and no more issues. Hope this helps someone else... you can do this the same way I did if you broadcast with a regular network adapter. If you use a router, you can change this in router settings generally via web interface.

i dont know what happen to my samsung s2 jellybean .. i cant connect to wifi anyone can fix this problem ..
