I have factory reset my Note 9 twice in the last few weeks. The latest: other day running errands it was about 50% battery. Got back to car and it had shut off.

It has randomly rebooted twice in the last month.

Last night, I out it on the wireless charger as I always do. Got up it not only didnt charge, but when trying to turn on these bright lines flashed the screen, faint red hue on screen, and then black screen. Plugged in to charge with cord upstairs. It was at 0 % and started charging.

Sprint tried to have me reset rpm but it took almost five tries to get it to connect back to the network.

Also once last week it got very hot.

Taking to Sprint store at 11 to see what they say

Sounds like the battery could be defective. How old is the phone? Do you typically let it drain to zero before you recharge, or start recharging around 30% or so? (If you habitually let it drain to zero, that can severely shorten the battery's lifespan.)

5 month old phone. Absolute nightmare contacting sprint and Samsung all morning basically

If you have a backup phone send it In to Samsung under warranty
I don't have a backup phone and I wish I did I'm just going to hold on to it for right now it's working this afternoon but I don't know for how long the closest service store is nowhere close to where I normally travel and it would take away time for my second job which I can't afford

Yeah that's downside nothing close by or having to wait when sending it in . If you could I recommend getting a backup like cheap phone 100 to 200 just to have for rare cases like this.

Also are you familiar with flashing the stock firmware again through Odin?

I definitely plan to do that I just can't right now. I had one previously but now I've learned my lesson LOL to always have a backup.

That defo sound like a defective battery and it will only get worse, try and get a loan of a phone from someone so you can send it in for repair or replacement
